 Bedford Bedford Directions coming up the A1 from London: North of Biggleswade take a left on A603 at Sandy towards Bedford. Following directions towards town centre, under Bedford By Pass, pass The Barns Courtyard Hotel on the right, coming into Bedford you'll see Tesco's on the right and then up to a roundabout. Turn right at roundabout over river, over roundabout up to a set of traffic lights crossing major road (A428 to Cambridge.) Come up to another set of traffic lights and turn right into Kimbolton Road and then immediately left into Park Avenue at the end of which you will see Robinson Pool on the right.

Once you're on the A33 follow it into Reading past the Madejski Stadium and about a mile after the stadium you come to the IDR (Inner Distribution Road). Take the IDR and come off at the Chatham Street exit, turn left at the top of the slip road and you'll see the pool.

 Southend Victoria or Central Southend Via Liverpool St to Southend Victoria or Fenchurch Street to Southend Central. Both stations are only a couple of minutes walk to the pool. If returning to London by train both trains will probably route to Liverpool Street as Fenchurch St normally closes around 10pm.The journey time is roughly an hour.

The nearest point to aim for is Junction 3 of the M25 where it crosses the A20. Follow the B2173 to Swanley Village. Go through three mini roundabout and follow the signs for London/Bromley. After the third mini roundabout you will be in London Road. The pool is on the right, past the Police Station and just past the Honda Car Showroom. If you get to the 'Deja Vue' night club you have gone too far.

There is a regular train service from Victoria via Bromley South. (half a hour train journey). Turn left out of the station and it will take about 15 minutes to walk.

You have to go round the town centre on the one way system and follow the signs for the Town Hall as the pool is by the Town Hall. At the end of the one way system take the left hand fork again following signs for the Town Hall. Go straight on at the roundabout (2nd exit) and go round a second sort of roundabout and the pool is on your left on the "roundabout". Turn left onto the side street just after the garage for parking.
