Objective:
To make room for a shot from a post player. Description: The attacker on the left top walks in towards the middle threatening the goal. The right top attacker slides right to make room. The left post attacker drops back into the gap created. |

The ball is passed to the post player who has dropped back (at 45 degrees, rather than straight back) who shoots.
Variations: Particularly if the right post player is left handed, the same play can be used on the other (weak) side, with the right top attacker moving round (rotation to the left) and releasing the right post. If the defence does not come to the player walking in, that player should shoot. |
