Faking

- Stay balanced (keep left hand out in front
sculling, left shoulder leads)
- Keep the ball high, fake and move forward
- Keep knees high and wide
- Arm should rotate around the head and not
come over it
- Keep forearm bent pointing up (not straight
as in the Poor Action above)
Shooting

- Maintain good technique: forearm pointing
up, head still, hips reasonably parallel to goal and good rotation
through shoulders and trunk
- As you rotate to shoot, bring the ball around
and the arm is still bent
- Maintain a vertical position (not falling
over as in the Poor Action above)
Examples of shooting action:
Avezedo: trunk rotation, arm position before
shot or pass

Figlioli: trunk rotation, arm, shoulder position
and legwork before shot (exaggerated)

Afroudakis shoot sequence: trunk rotation, head
still and upright body on release of ball
